About the Role

We are committed to providing exceptional dining experiences that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents. As a Culinary Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, managing food production, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage food production, ordering, and scheduling to ensure seamless service
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork among culinary staff
  • Maintain accurate records of food production quantities, cooking temperatures, and holding times
  • Prepare dietary modifications as required and utilize Sunrise systems for order taking and meal delivery
  • Stock, rotate, date, and store products according to food safety standards and regulations
  • Maintain clean and organized kitchen, storage, and work areas
  • Complete assigned cleaning duties and ensure accuracy of daily and weekly cleaning logs
  • Maintain accurate equipment logs and report any issues promptly
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of one year of job-related experience in food preparation, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certifications: CPR, First Aid, ServSafe Manager, Current Food Safe
  • Prior culinary apprenticeship or training is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
