Food Production Expert at Sunrise Senior Living

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Team Member to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a food production expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality preparation and service of meals for our residents.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of job-related experience in food preparation, preferably in a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of food production, including preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and adhering to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals in a timely manner, adhering to standardized recipes and menus.
  • Utilize production sheets to accurately record food production quantities and cooking, holding, and cooling temperatures.
  • Prepare required dietary modifications as ordered.
  • Maintain accurate equipment logs and report any issues promptly.
Requirements
  • 1 year of job-related experience in food preparation.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • ServSafe Manager Certificate.
  • Current Food Safe certification.
  • Prior culinary apprenticeship or training a plus.
