Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions IT Designer to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions to meet the needs of our customers and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Develop Solutions: Develop detailed solution designs within our SDS framework and act as an application SME through the design and development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with our Architecture.
- Lead Complex Projects: Lead the creation of solution options and ultimately a comprehensive end-to-end solution, coordinating relevant stakeholders as required to support development initiatives.
- Provide Estimates and Designs: Provide estimates for new projects and initiatives for the development/design component of the overall plan, working with relevant team members/stakeholders.
- Consult on System Requirements: Consult on the development of the System Requirements Specification (SRS) and apply functional knowledge of business functions to design optimal software/systems.
- Review and Deliver Solutions: Review technical deliverables throughout the detailed design and development phase to ensure quality adherence and identify gaps or redesign requirements as needed.
- Education and Experience: Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate, 5-7 years relevant technical experience, Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) - must have, Pega Senior System Architect (PCSSA) - nice to have.
- Skills and Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of the business, technical environment, processes, tools, various and multiple programming languages, operating systems, solutions design, and other relevant technology areas.
