Front Desk Representative

Miette Mountain Cabins is seeking a skilled Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:- Investigate and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Follow emergency and safety procedures.
- Perform clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Answer telephones and relay messages.
- Contact guests to deliver wake-up calls.
- Provide general information about points of interest in the area.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Will train.
- Multi-line switchboard experience.
- Word processing software skills.
- Database software skills.
- Computerized bookkeeping system experience.
- Central reservation system (CRS) experience.
- Internet skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Work under pressure.
Miette Mountain Cabins is a hotel, motel, and resort located in a beautiful mountain setting. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail.
Language:English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
Hours:30 to 40 hours per week.
