Front Desk Representative

Miette Mountain Cabins is seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Complaint Resolution: Investigate and resolve guest complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, including taking, canceling, and changing room reservations, processing guest departures, and maintaining an inventory of vacancies and room assignments.
- Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Communication: Answer telephones, relay messages, and contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in multi-line switchboard, word processing software, database software, and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with standing for extended periods.
- Work Conditions: Work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 30-40 hours per week.
- English Language: Primary language spoken in the workplace.
