About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at ANUROMA SINGH. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Household Duties: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and social interaction to our clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Meal Preparation: Shop for food and household supplies, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and cook as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset, but not required.
  • Personal Qualities: Organized, reliable, patient, and honest individuals who are able to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Home Support Worker, you will be working in a non-smoking environment. Staff accommodation is available, and you will be working in the employer's/client's home.

Language and Hours

The primary language spoken in this role is English, and the work hours are 35 hours per week.
