About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Jack Rybak. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Exercise and Activity: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and engage in other activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Work Location: Urban area, working in the employer's/client's home.
