Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at AGTA Home Health Care and Nursing Inc.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote their mental and physical well-being.
  • Assist clients with medication management, including administering medications as prescribed.
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Document client care and progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a related field, such as healthcare or social services, is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting (up to 45 kg).
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
