Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Markets Business Strategy Specialist to join our team at Banque Nationale du Canada. As a Technical Advisor in the Financial Markets Business Strategy group, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support to the sector by participating in the end-to-end process of updating Financial Markets personnel files.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the update of personnel files in the internal system, including hirings, departures, transfers, and promotions.
  • Master the complexity of Financial Markets employment contracts and contribute to the drafting of offer letters.
  • Document and optimize processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the campus recruitment team, when necessary.

About the Role

In this position, you will report to the Vice-President, Business Strategy – Financial Markets. You will benefit from extensive on-the-job learning and have access to training content to support your ongoing learning. You will also have the opportunity to rely on your colleagues and manager to enrich your experience.

Requirements

  • Professional College Diploma (DEC) and at least 4 years of experience OR a bachelor's degree and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a similar role within a Human Resources or Recruitment team.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deal with tight timelines.
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets is considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and client-focused.
  • Analytical skills and agility.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.
