Key Responsibilities

  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with the oncology team to design and optimize radiation treatment plans, perform dose calculations, and verify treatment plan accuracy.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance protocols for radiation therapy equipment, conduct regular equipment calibration and maintenance, and perform routine safety checks to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Patient Safety: Ensure accurate delivery of radiation doses to patients, monitor and evaluate patient treatment plans for safety and efficacy.
  • Research and Development: Participate in clinical research and development projects, staying updated with advancements in radiation oncology and medical physics.
  • Education and Training: Provide training and guidance to medical staff, including radiation therapists and dosimetrists, and educate patients and their families about radiation therapy procedures.
