Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Crew Member to join our team. As a Crew Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service:
    • Greet guests with a warm welcome and provide exceptional service.
    • Answer menu questions and ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Order Taking and Cash Handling:
    • Accurately take orders and process transactions using a POS system.
    • Collect payments, make change, and maintain an accurate cash drawer.
  • Food Preparation and Service:
    • Prepare and serve food items according to A&W recipes and standards.
    • Assemble food items and prepare produce for toppings.
    • Perform fryer and grill duties and serve beverages based on operational needs.
  • Operational Support:
    • Maintain fast service during busy periods.
    • Keep work areas clean and organized; restock supplies.
    • Follow food safety regulations and perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping floors, and sanitizing tables and chairs.
  • Team Support:
    • Work as a team with coworkers to deliver outstanding guest experiences and achieve service times.
    • Assist in training and orienting new team members.
    • Promote a respectful and inclusive team environment.
Requirements
  • Legal working age and eligibility to work in Canada.
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in the restaurant industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Capable of lifting up to 22 kg and standing for extended periods.
