Business Development and Client Relations Specialist

Acera Insurance is seeking a skilled and ambitious Business Development and Client Relations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for cultivating and building strong relationships with key stakeholders and high-value clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Cultivate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and high-value clients
- Actively hunt for new business opportunities through research, cold calling, and prospecting
- Represent Acera Insurance at events and meetings, such as golf events and hole sponsorships
- Consistently meet quarterly targets and gross/net sales
- Be a leader and solution provider to clients
- Work to diversify and increase commercial insurance and high-value clients
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients
- Available to travel as needed
- Plan and oversee events, such as guest speakers and fun events
- Track and deliver reports on CRM
- 2-3 years of related experience in a sales role
- Insurance knowledge or strong business background is considered an asset
- Event planning experience is considered an asset
- High degree of professionalism and integrity
- Strong business acumen
- Committed to excellence in customer service and builds strong relationships with clients
- Works well within a team and independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter
- Proven record of strong client relationship ability
- Excellent organizational skills for tracking and reporting
- Ability to prospect and build relationships
- Must have own reliable/highway vehicle and a valid clean driver's license
