Business Development & Client Relations Specialist
We're seeking a skilled and ambitious professional to join our team at Acera Insurance. As a Business Development & Client Relations Specialist, you will play a key role in cultivating and building strong relationships with key stakeholders and high-value clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and high-value clients
- Actively hunt for new business opportunities through research, cold calling, and prospecting
- Represent Acera Insurance at events and meetings, such as golf events and hole sponsorships
- Consistently meet quarterly targets and gross/net sales
- Be a leader and solution provider to clients
- Work to diversify and increase commercial insurance and high-value clients
- Build and maintain a pipeline
- Available to travel as needed
- Event planning – plan and oversee events, such as guest speakers and fun events
- Track and deliver reports on CRM
Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years of related experience in a sales role
- Insurance knowledge or strong business background is considered an asset
- Event planning experience is considered an asset

- Proven record of strong client relationship ability

- Ability to prospect and build relationships
- Must have own reliable/highway vehicle and a valid clean driver's license
