Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at The Station Neighbourhood Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to a high standard
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Work Environment

The Station Neighbourhood Pub is a busy restaurant with a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will be required to work in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues.
