Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at The Station Neighbourhood Pub. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment

The Station Neighbourhood Pub is a busy restaurant with a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will be required to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.
