We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Spice Hut Canada Franchise Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation and service.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure timely and efficient food preparation and service.
We specialize in East Indian cuisine and are looking for someone with experience in this area.
ExperiencePrevious experience in a kitchen environment is required, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
LanguageFluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.Work Hours
40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
