Job Overview

The Government of Northwest Territories seeks a Senior Systems Analyst to lead and provide application development and support services to various users from diverse program areas.

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is approximately $102,597 - $124,013 per annum, plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to junior positions and contractors.
  • Take the lead in developing and maintaining dissimilar applications.
  • Ensure the accessibility, integrity, problem-solving, and security of assigned application systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • A relevant post-secondary degree and 4 years of progressively more responsible related experience.
  • Professional certifications in project management, systems analysis, or software development are desirable.
  • Membership in the Canadian Information Processing Society is also beneficial.
