About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Services Assistant to join our team at the Castlegar Health Centre. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide exceptional support to our healthcare professionals and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including data entry, correspondence, and record management.
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments, and receive, record, and check balances of cash transactions.
  • Maintain and clean medical/surgical supplies, equipment, and HCIS resource material.
  • Perform various reception and administrative duties, including preparing presentations, arranging meetings, and transcribing minutes.
  • Assist with weighing and measuring babies, calibrating equipment, and vision screenings.
Requirements
  • A current supervised 5-minute Typing Test 40 wpm or greater completed within the past 24 months from a recognized institution.
  • A Medical Office Assistant Certificate.
  • A current valid BC Driver's License.
  • Your Resume.
  • A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position.
