Administrative Support Specialist

Interior Health Authority is seeking a skilled Administrative Services Assistant to join their team at the Castlegar Health Centre. As a Casual Administrative Services Assistant, you will work rotating days from 08:00 to 16:30, 08:30 to 16:30, with varying hours from 0 - 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of reception, administrative, and Health Unite Aide support duties, including data entry, preparing presentations, and scheduling appointments.
Maintain and clean medical/surgical supplies, equipment, and HCIS resource material, as well as weigh and measure babies, calibrate equipment, and perform vision screenings.
Ensure accurate record management, including typing correspondence, transcribing minutes, and booking travel.
Requirements:
A current supervised 5-minute Typing Test 40 wpm or greater completed within the past 24 months from a recognized institution.
A Medical Office Assistant Certificate.
A current valid BC Driver's License.
Your Resume and a Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position.
