Position Summary
The University of Regina invites applications for a full-time tenure track nursing faculty position. The rank (assistant, associate, or full professor) and salary are competitive and commensurate with professional experience and qualifications.
Position Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practice
- Evidence of a beginning program of research (for Assistant Professor) and an established well-funded program of research (for Professor)
- Publication and a demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm for teaching, including student advising, recruitment, and retention
- Ability to use a variety of teaching modalities, including offering courses on-site and by distance delivery
- Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a PhD
- A minimum of one graduate degree in Nursing is preferred, and the ability to practice as a nurse practitioner will be considered an asset
- Applicants must be registered or eligible for unencumbered registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan
