Position Overview
The Faculty of Social Work at the University of Regina invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor positions. We are seeking highly qualified candidates with a strong research and teaching background in social work practice, education, or policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching at the BSW and MSW levels
- Conducting research in social work practice, education, or policy
- Supervising graduate students
- Contributing to the administrative structure of the Faculty of Social Work
Requirements
A PhD in Social Work or a related area is required. A record of research and teaching in social work practice, education, or policy is essential. A completed PhD is preferred, but all but dissertation (ABD) will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in critical disability studies, dismantling anti-black racism, abolitionist social work, indigenous and decolonizing child welfare, or critical perspectives on trauma
- Expertise in social work practice, education, or policy
