About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at ANTHILL CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit production reports to management
    • Coordinate and schedule site activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Site Supervision
    • Supervise and direct a team of 5-10 workers on site
    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Materials and Equipment Management
    • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
    • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Personnel Management
    • Recruit, hire, and train new staff members
    • Recommend personnel actions to management
  • Communication and Coordination
    • Communicate effectively with site staff, management, and clients
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week
