About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Southridge Construction Ltd. As a key member of our site operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation
    • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from project sites.
    • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Material Handling
    • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
    • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Health and Safety
    • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with varying weather conditions.
    • Handle heavy loads and equipment as required.
  • Training and Development
    • Will train on the job to develop skills and knowledge required for the role.
  • Work Schedule
    • Work a standard 40-hour week, with occasional overtime as required.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Experience
    • Will train on the job, but previous experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English is required.
