As a key member of our farm operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality crops.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
* Maintain financial and production records
* Negotiate with clients for provision of services
* Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
* Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
* Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
* Maintain work records and logs
* Hire and train staff
* Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
* Perform general farm duties
* Make emergency repairs to equipment
* Maintain inventory of supplies
* Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions

Requirements:

* 5-10 years of experience in farm operations or a related field
* Strong knowledge of farm safety and bio-security procedures
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Physical stamina to perform manual labor
