We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Leader to join our team at Banque Nationale du Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our cybersecurity threat intelligence practice and playing a critical part in improving the security of our bank and its customers.

As a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years of applied technical experience in a Cybersecurity Monitoring Operations Center (SOC), you will bring your expertise in cyber threat analysis, research, and implementation of best practices to our team. Your functional competence in using main tools of a Security Operations Center (SOC) such as SIEM, EDR, NDR, ticketing systems, etc. will enable you to analyze data from various sources of cyber threat intelligence, produce reports detailing the threat, and propose actions to reduce our risks.

You will also be responsible for contributing to the implementation and improvement of prevention and detection measures according to the threat, developing partnerships with internal and external entities to share information about attackers, their motivations, and techniques, and actively participating in complex incidents to contextualize events and better understand observed attacks.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of applied technical experience in a Cybersecurity Monitoring Operations Center (SOC)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cyber threat intelligence
  • Proven strategy to stay informed about current trends in terms of cyber threats
  • Functional competence in using main tools of a Security Operations Center (SOC)
