Job Overview

This role involves working as a key member of our DETECT team, responsible for overall monitoring of our environment.

The ideal candidate will have around 5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment or similar experience.

They should possess relevant cybersecurity certifications and have a proven track record in defining playbooks and standard operating procedures.

A background in Sentinel and Microsoft Defender suite is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Security Monitoring and Analysis

- General cybersecurity monitoring of endpoints, servers, operational environment, cloud, and on-prem environments.

- Vulnerability management and monitoring.

- External attack surface monitoring and management.

- Dark web monitoring.

- Threat monitoring and management.

- Analyzing threats and vulnerabilities, developing action plans to address them.

- Implementing strategies to mitigate identified risks.

Playbook and Process Development

- Defining, developing, and maintaining playbooks and SOPs.

- Ensuring playbooks and SOPs are up-to-date, comprehensive, and aligned with industry best practices.

Incident Management

- Monitoring, detection, and analysis of security incidents.

- Participating in incident response efforts, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

- Conducting post-incident analysis to identify root causes and improve response processes.

Reporting and Documentation

- Producing clear and concise reports.

- Maintaining accurate records of all security incidents and responses.

Continuous Improvement

- Staying current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.

- Continuously assessing and improving processes, tools, and capabilities.

- Implementing new technologies and methodologies to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.

Estimate Salary Range:$90,000-$120,000 per year.
