As a vital member of Alter Solutions Group's security operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security alerts from various sources.

  • Alert Review and Qualification: Determine the credibility and impact of each alert and take appropriate action to mitigate potential risks.
  • Initial Remediation Tasks: Address and resolve initial security concerns by implementing basic remediation measures.
  • Incident Escalation: In cases of major security incidents, promptly escalate to higher-level teams for further investigation and resolution.

Working in our innovative environment, you will have frequent interaction with global infrastructure and application production teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in technical IT or cybersecurity is required, with strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Cybersecurity knowledge: Familiarity with common cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Incident Response Skills: Quick reflexes in responding to security incidents and ability to identify and analyze potential threats.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience; prior experience in a SOC environment.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in a shift-based schedule, including nights and weekends.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience. This figure is based on national averages for similar roles.
