Role Description

This is a Parkbridge role, reporting into the Revenue Administration Manager at QuadReal, in Toronto, ON. The Bilingual (French) Revenue Administrator is responsible for the revenue accounting cycle of assigned land-lease properties. This includes all tasks related to ensuring the financial integrity of monthly rent rolls and maintaining resident sub-ledgers.

The Bilingual Revenue Administrator will suggest and assist the Supervisor and Manager of Revenue Administration with process and technical enhancements. All duties will be completed while upholding Parkbridge's mission, vision, and values, serving as a brand and cultural ambassador.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate entry of accounts receivable transactions, lease documents, renewals, tenant information, and adjustments utilizing Yardi software.
  • Process all resident charges and manage rentable items.
  • Account for all cash transactions related to resident accounts.
  • Process and post pre-authorized payments from residents in Yardi.
  • Review and reconcile monthly rent roll prior to posting and make appropriate adjustments.
  • Process information for residents moving out and issue appropriate refund cheques.
  • Review and aid in rental discrepancies with Property Managers – i.e. large accounts receivable balances, outstanding write-offs, etc.
  • Create correspondence to residents, working with the site for resident delivery.
  • Work closely with the Accounting department to ensure month ends are properly invoiced and accounting related questions are properly answered.
  • Compile and process collection packages, as required.
  • Support preparation of relevant files for legal action.
  • Liaise with Property Managers, Regional Managers, and Accounting to ensure appropriate information is received, recorded and provided as requested, either through regular monthly reports or ad-hoc requests.
  • Participate in special ad-hoc projects.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements in the Residential Property Administration workflows.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in French and English, with excellent oral and written skills in both languages.
  • Two years' relevant experience and post-secondary education preferred.
  • Experience in Residential Real Estate is an asset.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret Company policies and procedures as well as relevant Acts and Legislation.
  • An energetic self-starter and willingness to learn.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office software and proficiency with Yardi Voyager is an asset.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships.
  • Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and strong adherence to established deadlines.
  • Organized and efficient with strong multi-task skills and the ability to work under pressure with limited supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Positive, friendly, professional and customer service oriented.
  • Ability to think logically and solve problems.
