We are seeking a skilled Executive Chef to join our team at West Coast Grill Sooke. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership and culinary expertise.

About the Role

As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that we maintain our high standards of quality and service. You will work closely with our management team to develop menus, manage budgets, and oversee staff training and development.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in senior chef roles, preferably in fine dining establishments. You will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional cuisine, managing teams, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training and performance management
  • Oversee inventory management and food ordering
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience as a senior chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of nutrition and food safety regulations
