Job Title: Mechanic Helper

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Mechanic Helper to join our team at B & B Truck and Trailer Repairs Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist our mechanics in performing various tasks related to truck and trailer maintenance and repair. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the industry and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist mechanics in moving tools, equipment, and materials as needed.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be required to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
