Job Title: Truck Trailer Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at B & B Truck and Trailer Repairs Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial transport trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Review work orders
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Client focus and team player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
