About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team at Kooner Truck & Trailer Repair. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, including truck-trailer systems.
  • Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and perform scheduled maintenance service.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Specialization: Develop expertise in truck-trailer repair and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary tools and equipment.
  • Work Environment: 30 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
  • Language: English.
