Senior Technical Product Manager: Emissions Intelligence Solutions Leader

We're seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager for our cutting-edge GHGsat solution, where you'll bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring our products meet customer needs while aligning with our strategic objectives.
This is a highly technical role requiring a strong background in technical management, ownership of internal products at system level (features, data platforms, etc.), and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you'll report to the product director and work closely with product managers (focusing on external products), product marketers, and software development teams.
You'll have the opportunity to develop and execute a comprehensive technical product roadmap supporting our company's strategic goals and product portfolio. Key responsibilities will include conducting R&D projects, building opportunities for internal technical products, defining the technical product vision, and maintaining alignment with stakeholders across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, project, and product management skills, with experience working with cloud-based data management applications, interfacing with multiple software development teams on various internal products, and delivering high-quality solutions under tight deadlines.
**Estimated Salary:** $150,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technical product roadmap supporting the company's strategic goals and product portfolio.
- Conduct R&D projects and build opportunities for our internal technical products.
- Define the technical product vision and maintain alignment with stakeholders across the organization.
- Work closely with engineering teams to define and build technical products and solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end technical product development lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, testing, and launch.
- Create and maintain product documentation, including requirement documents, product specifications, and release notes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in relevant roles, including strong experience in functional modelization and requirements management.
- Test-Driven Development mindset involving CI, CD, documentation, iterative deliveries.
- Able to obtain Canadian government security clearance.
