About the Role

We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic senior UX designer to join our North American division in Quebec. As a key member of our Product Management team, you will work closely with developers, customer-facing roles, and customers to ensure a smooth and easy-to-use experience across our software platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the user design and experience of our product, collaborating with the Product Manager to develop an exemplary customer journey.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to evaluate and further develop your ideas and designs.
  • Conduct discovery & feedback sessions with customers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Plan and coordinate user testing, selecting industry tools to manage user data collection and analysis.
  • Collaborate with product owners and development teams to complete prioritized feature development.
  • Participate in daily Agile team activities (scrums, planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives).

Requirements

  • A few years of professional experience in user-focused UI/UX roles, with emphasis on enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) user experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing complex products in simple and intuitive ways while incorporating great visual aesthetics.
  • Experience working in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other design/wireframe tools.
  • Previous work in agile environments and design thinking.
  • Understanding of Design Systems, their principles, processes, and methodologies, including web technologies.
  • Proven creativity in crafting original and elegant solutions for complex design challenges.
  • Autonomy to own and drive project discovery, design, buy-in, and delivery.
  • Experience conducting user interviews and leveraging insights into design work.
  • Stellar communication skills and collaborative approach to work with product managers, developers, users, and stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills to juggle shifting workloads and competing priorities.
  • A design portfolio for review.
  • Residency in Quebec.
  • Interest in learning about the transportation electrification space.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in customer-facing roles, ideally working directly with large accounts for design testing and user feedback sessions.
  • Experience working with energy or transportation software.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay current with and apply the latest UI/UX design trends.
  • Experience using Jira, Miro, and Confluence.
  • A degree in Design, UX, IT, CS, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Salary: $85,000-$95,000 CAD OTE
