Role Summary

The Emergency Medical Call Taker is the first point of contact for emergency medical situations, providing critical support to the public via telephone. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and effective communication with team members and callers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service while managing high-pressure situations
  • Prioritize tasks, problem-solve, and communicate effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Take a leadership role, building relationships with team members and callers
  • Seek win-win solutions, maintaining professionalism in conflict situations
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Valid certificates in Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
  • 2+ years' experience in customer service
  • Experience in a call centre is an asset
  • Fluent spoken and written English
