About the Job
You will inspect components from aero derivative gas turbine engines and their modules to support the repair and overhaul businesses. All work is performed with health and safety as our priority under a culture of quality assurance and a focus on the customer. You will be working with a trained team that are working together to satisfy customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Visual and Instrument Inspection of disassembled Gas turbine components and providing a disposition for the repair and overhaul process
- Assess the state of components using established guides and instructions
- Verification of assembly documentation
- Preparation of instructions for components requiring rework
- Borescope Inspection and measurement of engines and assemblies
- Conduct minor rework operations
- Final inspection of components at parts receiving
Requirements
You will need a college diploma in aeronautics or a relevant aeronautical training and experience acquired in the Canadian armed forces.
