Job Overview


As a skilled Aerospace Component Inspector with Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of gas turbine components.



About the Role

This position requires a strong understanding of aeronautical principles and practices, as well as excellent visual inspection skills. You will be responsible for inspecting disassembled gas turbine components and modules to support repair and overhaul businesses.



The ideal candidate will have a college diploma in aeronautics or a related field, and relevant training and experience acquired in the Canadian armed forces or equivalent civilian industry. A certificate of study in aeronautics recognized by the Ministry of Education is also an asset.



Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Visual inspection of gas turbine components and modules
  • Assessment of component state using established guides and instructions
  • Verification of assembly documentation
  • Preparation of instructions for rework operations
  • Borescope inspection and measurement of engines and assemblies
  • Conduct minor rework operations
  • Final inspection of components at parts receiving

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range between $75,000 - $90,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience, to attract and retain top talent in this field.
