Gas Turbine Component Inspection Specialist

About the Role

At Siemens Energy, we are seeking a skilled Gas Turbine Component Inspection Specialist to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our Gas Services Business Unit, you will play a critical role in supporting the repair and overhaul of aero derivative gas turbine engines.

A Snapshot of Your Day

You will inspect components from gas turbine engines and their modules, ensuring that all work is performed with health and safety as our top priority. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment will be essential in satisfying customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visual and Instrument Inspection of disassembled gas turbine components
  • Assess the state of components using established guides and instructions
  • Verification of assembly documentation
  • Preparation of instructions for components requiring rework
  • Borescope Inspection and measurement of engines and assemblies
  • Conduct minor rework operations
  • Final inspection of components at parts receiving

Requirements

  • A college diploma in aeronautics or a related field
  • Relevant aeronautical training and experience acquired in the Canadian armed forces
