Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerodynamic Systems Specialist to join our team at Siemens Energy Canada Limited in Lachine, Quebec.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. As an Aerodynamic Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for performing assembly and disassembly work on aero derivative gas turbine engines and their modules.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and disassemble gas turbine engines and modules for new build sales or for repair and overhaul activities.
  • Assemble compressor, combustion, and turbine modules using detailed build instructions.
  • Balance shafts and discs and rotor assemblies.
  • Measure and verify assembly actions.
  • Movements of modules and assemblies between stations.
  • Disassemble engine and modules for repair and overhaul.
  • Prepare gas turbine engine for shipment to the customer.

Requirements

To be successful as an Aerodynamic Systems Specialist, you will need:

  • A college diploma in aeronautics; or
  • A certificate of study in aeronautics recognized by the Ministry of Education; or
  • A diploma of professional studies in aerospace; or
  • A relevant aeronautical training and experience acquired in the Canadian armed forces.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
