We are seeking an experienced Dispute Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Dispute Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing disputes related to Accident Benefit files, ensuring effective communication and negotiation skills are applied to resolve complex issues.

Key responsibilities will include:

Accountabilities:

  • Manage routine and moderately complex files through the dispute process.
  • Represent the company in the negotiation and settlement process at the License Appeal Tribunal.
  • Attend License Appeal Tribunal case conferences and hearings.
  • Demonstrate expertise through proactive file handling and analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with lawyers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • University Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of Accident Benefit claims handling experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule and License Appeal Tribunal.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in mediation and alternative dispute resolution is an asset.
