Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our commitment to using only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients.
- Staff Management: Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our restaurant.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of all kitchen supplies and ingredients to ensure that we are always stocked and ready to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all menu items meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to our health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help our kitchen staff improve their skills and advance their careers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership and management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
