Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Ontario Inc o/a Hook Line & Sinker. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our customers.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Lead a team of cooks in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, adhering to our brand standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and mentor junior staff members in food preparation, presentation, and kitchen safety.
  • Cross-Cultural Competency: Foster a welcoming work environment by providing cultural competency training and support for Indigenous workers and newcomers/refugees.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
