We are seeking a highly skilled Underwriter to join our team at Definity. As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for assessing risks and making informed decisions to ensure the efficient and effective underwriting of commercial insurance policies.
Key Responsibilities- Assess risks and make informed decisions to ensure the efficient and effective underwriting of commercial insurance policies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Provide exceptional customer service to brokers and other stakeholders
- Insurance knowledge with awareness of risk and at least two years of experience in Commercial Lines underwriting
- Excellent communication and people skills, strong motivational skills, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with sales and a proven track record of success
