Job Summary:
CB Canada is seeking a skilled Payroll Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will work primarily from home and will be responsible for providing support to our payroll department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate time sheets and enter new employee information
- Process payroll for 40 employees
- Prepare and post payroll journal entries
- Assist the payroll manager with various tasks
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support human resources functions such as recruitment, posting job openings, and training
Requirements:
- Previous experience in payroll
- Interest in human resources
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
