Position: Hydrogeology Project Coordinator

EnviroEmplois is in search of a Hydrogeology Project Coordinator to enhance their water resource management team. The ideal candidate will engage in a variety of hydrogeological initiatives, groundwater studies, well development, aquifer stewardship, hydrogeological consulting, and assessments of water vulnerability. This role provides flexibility for remote work, with a portion of time allocated based on the nature of the responsibilities.

Core Duties:

  • Plan, manage, and implement investigative projects
  • Supervise drilling operations, testing, and sampling of soil and groundwater
  • Generate technical reports and schematics
  • Evaluate and interpret hydrogeological information
  • Oversee project management, including resource allocation, financial planning, and scheduling
  • Draft reports and applications for water extraction permits
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure project success
  • Promote and enforce health and safety protocols in the workplace

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering or a Master's degree in Hydrogeology
  • A minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience in hydrogeology
  • Strong organizational and decision-making abilities
  • Proficient in French, both spoken and written
  • Familiarity with provincial regulations regarding water extraction
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaboratively
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
