Job Description

This full-time position performs duties that vary from reception, client service, administration, data administration, reporting, and research. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities.

The selected individual must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting. They must also be flexible, organized, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.

  • Front desk reception duties such as answering calls, assisting clients, meeting and greeting - providing first-line client service troubleshooting where possible
  • Drafting, proofing, and sending letters, correspondence, presentations; drafting reports, creating invitations
  • Participating in the organization of meetings and special events; ordering catering and ensuring setup/cleanup after
  • Ordering and maintaining supplies for the office and kitchen
  • Assisting with new account setup/openings and ensuring accurate and detailed information is provided and in a timely manner
  • Updating account information and tracking communications and updates via internal systems
  • Electronic and paper filing, scanning, photocopying, and documentation
  • Scheduling and preparing couriers and mail; both incoming and outgoing
  • Trade reconciliations and reconciling accounts in their internal systems

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years related experience, preferably from a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A completed post-secondary education and enrollment in CSC are required; completion of CSC is preferred.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with financial systems and/or CRMs is an asset
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60,000 - $70,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards. Additionally, the company offers a competitive benefits package, including employer-paid benefits, RRSP matching, and more.

Location

This role is located in the Toronto downtown core, within walking distance from Union Station and major public transportation hubs.
