We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our LINC team in Surrey, BC. This is a Casual - On Call duty.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the LINC program, which has a student body of approximately 250 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client inquiries in person, by phone, and via email;
  • Update and maintain client wait lists;
  • Ensure all documentation is processed for student registration, following up where necessary;
  • Maintain up-to-date files, including record keeping in iCare;
  • Liaise with LINC instructors and daycare staff;
  • Perform administrative tasks, including preparing student letters, class lists, and attendance sheets;
  • Process client referrals;
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures;
  • Manage program supplies inventories and perform all administrative duties.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary training in Office Administration;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an office environment;
  • Exceptional written and oral English language communication skills;
  • Proficiency in computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, MS Teams), iCare, and other databases;
  • Minimum 50 WPM typing speed;
  • Experience working in funded programs and non-profit organizations, preferred;
  • Second language an asset;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic group environment.
