Clinical Geneticist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Geneticist to join our team at BC Cancer. As a Clinical Geneticist, you will play a key role in providing quality cancer care to our patients by assessing and counseling on genetic risks, conducting genetic testing, and developing management recommendations for hereditary cancer syndromes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and counsel patients on genetic risks and conduct genetic testing
  • Develop management recommendations for hereditary cancer syndromes
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients

Requirements

  • Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Certification in Medical Genetics with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Additional post-residency training and/or relevant experience in cancer genetics, pharmacogenomics, or cardiac genetics
