Cancer Research Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Vancouver Cancer Centre. As a member of our department, you will play a key role in providing quality cancer care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical expertise in the management of lymphoid malignancies and plasma cell disorders
- Support the activities of the Vancouver Medical Oncology Program and the UBC Medical Oncology Training Program
- Contribute to the teaching of postgraduate trainees and undergraduate medical students
- Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
- Certificate of Special Competence in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
- Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia and credentialing by the Professional Advisory Committee of BC Cancer
- Ability to obtain a clinical appointment in the Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia
We offer a competitive salary range of $350,000 - $450,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical and dental coverage, as well as a generous pension plan.
