Experienced Medical Oncologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Vancouver Centre of BC Cancer. As a Medical Oncologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality cancer care to our patients.
About the Role:
This is a Regular Full-Time position with a 1.0 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) workload. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with various types of cancer. Clinical experience in the management of Genitourinary tumors is highly desirable, and preference will be given to individuals with additional years of research training or GU fellowship beyond medical oncology residency training requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality cancer care to patients
- Support the activities of the Vancouver Medical Oncology Program and the UBC Medical Oncology Training Program
- Teach postgraduate trainees and undergraduate medical students
Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, you must have obtained or be working towards Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology. You must also be eligible for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia and meet the requirements of credentialing by the Professional Advisory Committee of BC Cancer. In addition, you should be eligible for a clinical appointment in the Division of Medical Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $300,000 - $400,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan.
